Welcome
The purpose of the following self-paced course is to provide a thorough understanding of immigration evaluations and a blueprint for conducting effective immigration evaluations. Over time, immigration evaluations have become an increasingly critical aspect of the immigration process. Oftentimes, these evaluations are a mandatory element of trauma-related immigration cases, such as political asylum.
The importance of these evaluations has become especially clear when accounting for varied political contexts and cultural factors that impact immigrants’ mental health. As a result, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) relies upon immigration evaluations conducted by licensed mental health professionals.
"I’m Dr. Jimenez. After conducting hundreds of immigration evaluations, I’ve seen firsthand how a single clinical assessment can change a family's future. Now, I also help therapists master this specialized work to expand their impact, gain financial freedom, and build a flexible practice that works for them—not the other way around."
